Default Coyotes ready yet?

Getting ready to start putting out the wire. How's the yote fur been looking this last little while? Good luck this year.

At this time of year the fur looks good but the skin would pretty black yet. I don't go after them until December.

They are getting to be real nice
Skinned 8 out last week and a couple fresh ones the other day. I going all out by the week end. 250 snares and 350 rounds of 243. The last dogs were esy 80$ coyotes.

Some of the adults are okay but most are still quite flat. Most all the pups are flatter than a pancake. I seen quite a bunch already, did some trapping for research.

So you will know better than most Marty , how soon should a guy start picking them up ? I've seen a fair number and the first ones are gonna be easy pickings , thinking of taking them beore the rifle deer hunters juice em .

Set out the first 18 of my power snares on saturday. The warm weather will have me checking every day. Here's # 1, crappy picture but he was a really nice pale dog. Moving my baits south is paying off already, rarely get the nice pale ones north of town. haven't put him up yet but leather looked pretty white when i skinned him out. He was nice and fluffy too.
