I think a lot of civil unrest is caused here by the giant circle jerk old boys club. One member vs an oldie, oldie calls for back up, group of oldies ambush the member spewing everything under the sun "he's passed bigger deer than you've ever seen, shot further, walked further, etc etc etc, do you even know who he is in the scene?????"
It's like guys on here demand respect because of their join date and who they are friends with IRL. People gotta realize it's the interwebs.

Interesting thread. Disenchanted cronies moaning about the good old days. Guys who feel life is worthless if they can't post about politics incessantly. And of course fellows telling each other to perform x-rated acts. All on a thread about civility. Twilight Zone stuff for sure.
Here is what I would say. Disenchanted people, if it is such a bad place, there are lots of internet forums. Find one and be happy. Really. AO is bigger than any small group of angry posters. It will still be around if any of you choose to leave. Not being ignorant. Just telling the truth. No one is irreplaceable.
