Two days....
Two moose.
Elk were little shy this AM.
Tonight perhaps.

Little bull? Looks like the one I saw down there last monday. How many years for a bull moose draw down there, 17?
Elk were silent this past week, heard more suspect bugling from other hunters. Hope that wasn't you up on spades peak, buddie's elk chuckle sounded like he was playing a picolo. Man was I laughing, bull elk don't make long, smooth, and pansy sounding chuckles when they're ready to lock antlers.

Not two down... just run into two. Both cows.
Nope not me chuckling. 90% cow chirps. I’ve brought in plenty bulls. I’ve also brought in plenty of hunters as well.
We had one come to us, at first I thought maybe a Hunter...but he didn’t show.. found his tracks on the way out. It’s always a sneak in for theses guys in this area.
They almost never bugle in that area.

Ya comedians....
Only had a long distance chirp reply from way up this morning. I figured we shoulda hiked up there.
..... an we saw a nice bull moose.... no pics this time.
I got a buddy who actually has a 402 moose tag. He just got out from his camp... so he knows where that one may be hanging out now.

Yeah didn’t hear any bugles either this last weekend in that general area, saw a few elk including one possibly legal bull but wasn’t able to tell 100% due to the morning mist and lower light, heard a few cows chirping was about it
