Default 04 dodge factory command start

I have a 04 Dodge Ram with the factory command start. The other day it quite working. I thought I would try to push the start button with truck running and key in the ignition to keep the truck running while I took key out (like my non factory command start in my 98) but it didn’t work that way. Now when I push the button all I get is a horn honk and nothing happens if I push it again I get 3 horn honks and nothing happens.
I am thinking there’s gotta be a reset or reprogram procedure to get it working properly but I can’t find anything helpful.
Maybe someone on here knows these factory starts.

Check safety interlocks. The horn is telling you there is a fault. Could be hood switch, brake switch, neutral. The vehicle thinks that something in the sequence of events to start is missing.
Good luck.
