Default Bulk powder suppliers?

Can anyone tell me who I could get in touch with for buying powder in bulk in alberta? Been loading for years but generally just buy powder by the lb/5lb rs.
Thanks

Hummason's or Higginson's in Ontario, if they happen to have any. Other than that, you can get 8 lbr's if they're available wherever you can find them these days. Finding someone who actually has any is the trick. There is a wee bit of an ongoing supply issue on all components over the last year or two.

Doug Rayner at Rayner Shine just east of Leader Sk. Phone number is 306-689-2654. He had 4 different types on hand when I was there about 6 weeks ago.

Hummasons is where I picked up powder at the beginning of the new year. Got 40lbs of the good stuff for the best prices. I would see if they ship.

Caroline Supplies is supposed to be the Goex distributor for Alberta, he also charges far and away the highest prices for the powder. There are no major smokeless powder distributors in Alberta that I know of. If you have to pay shipping, the price is the same whether is comes from Ontario or Edmonton. I Order from Higginsons when I get larger quantities.

Swamp Donkey by Spruce Grove also has good prices if he has what you want.

The 4 types of powder were for a flintlock but he had a seacan full of smokeless powders. Not sure of the types but he has been my go to guy when shortages occur.

remember to capitalize each word if you are doing a search
never remember wife’s log in for farce-book so end up doing a search that does not work or cut and paste

so search with capital first letters for da donkey

Ah. Last I spoke with him, maybe a couple months ago, he didn't have what I was looking for and was in fact a little low on most.

Doug got most of his stock from the US, with the border shut down I would think he hasn't been able to re-stock and would be getting low on most things.
That would be my guess.
Also, his wife would do those Border runs and she ,unfortunately ,passed away not long ago. That may be a factor in re-stocking in the near the future now that the Border has re-opened, along with proof of Vax, testing ,etc.

Yeah, when we spoke she was still alive but not doing well. He wasn't sure how long she had.
