AO, Duck hunt
Smoky Buck (left)
Dick284(middle)
Predator(right)
We threw in on a impromptu duck shoot and by 5:10pm we had our limit of mallard’s, and one sadly wayward canada goose.

Awesome. Well done. Unlucky goose and lucky Smoky, lol (or both unlucky, depending on if he likes goose meat).

Thanks Randy.
FWIW: I would hope my son and I have similar genetic predispositions after all, he is of my creation as they say.
As for Predator and the term handsome, heck he isn't even all that handy
And well Smoky Buck and I are neighbours, and the property values didn’t crash after he moved in, so he’s one of the good guys.

If I wasn't otherwise occupied I would have whined about not getting an invite! LOL
Looks like a grand time

Was Predator able to get his ducks loaded into the back of the Hyundai without issues?

It turned out good for a last minute change up after our planned goose shoot decided to fly to a new field. Ducks were nice and steady creating a relaxing shoot. And fairly tolerable couple guys to hunt with
Dick284 has been a good guy since I invaded his neighborhood so when he offered the invite I took him up on it. Got to learn a few things regarding scouting field shoots in this kind of country on this trip. Guess he figured I might make a decent bird dog is why I got the offer lol
First time I met Predator and I can’t really say anything bad about this guy either. Definitely has respect for the birds he hunts and considerate of those he is sharing the shoot with. I don’t know if I agree with huntinstuff about the handsome part though
It was a good afternoon for sure

A great, relaxing, afternoon shoot.
Ducks were very cooperative but with enough time between flights for some good BS sessions in the blind.
Once some tips were shared like: “shoot with both your eyes open”, “that should be a shotgun in your hands, not a sandwich”, and “no sleeping between or during flights”, our numbers started to climb. (Kidding of course)
You’d be hard pressed to find a couple of better gents to spend a great day afield with.
