Default Good news on the horizon, Maybe?

So having checked pretty much every on-line reloading supplier in Canada with the same results as everyone else, I thought "Why Not" and dropped a note directly to Barnes.
"Hi Folks
I am sure you get this question about 50 times a day (or more)
I live in Canada and as far as I can tell there are no .308 x 150gr TSX or TTSX projectiles available anywhere in the country
I have contacted every vendor that I can identify
Do you have any idea when you might be catching up on backorders?
Thx"

They replied - good news in itself and it didn't appear to be a completely canned reply although aimed more at the US market...

"Thank you for shooting Barnes bullets.
We are currently running a sizable run of the .308 150 TTSX.
As you can hopefully understand our industry is backlogged at unprecedented numbers. Our employees are getting lots of overtime as we are running our bullet and ammunition making presses nearly 24/7.
Several things you can do. The best advice I can give is to check in to our online store to check availability. https://www.barnesbullets.com/
Next, get yourself on email waiting lists with several, if not more, online retailers such as Graf & Sons, MidwayUSA or Natchez Shooters Supply as well as a host of others.
Next, take a look at these two sites https://ammoseek.com/ or https://www.gunbroker.com/
Hope you find what you're looking for!"

Who knows maybe some will leak north of the border

I've been looking for 6.5 cal, 120 grain TTSX for awhile. But absolutely no luck! Super frustrated, just like everyone else!

All I can say is the Vista corporate execs pretty much sound like politicians these days, lots of words, but, nothing really said of any substance or value.
Granted, they don't own Sierra/Barnes, but, this is only really an announcement to say the Remington plant is running without saying at what capacity level, and they also bought Hevishot. So, ya, they added a new line to their holdings, which likely accounts for half the hirings they are talking up, and that would also likely include a "production increase" to their holdings as well. The one part that is not really doublespeak, is about supply chain issues and no use building a new plant they can't supply raw materials to.

Wonder if folks could setup an exchange thread. I know there's always guys looking for stuff that have a surplus they don't need of another bullet. I might even have your 308 tsx's if you had some sierra gameking 55gr hpbt

Hopfully supply chain with all the majors will get sorted out soon. It doesn't help that lots of people panic buy when they see something in stock...
