When did it expire? According to the RCMP website, there is a six month extension after expiry......This is from the RCMP website. I do not know what the limitations are

Firearm licence expiry
•As per the Common Sense Firearms Licensing Act, since October 2017, individuals have a six-month extension period past the expiry date printed on their firearms licence card to submit a renewal application online
•An expiring firearms licence card will automatically remain valid, with limitations, during this extension period
•Individuals can check the status of their firearms licence application via Individual Web Services

Might want to call them

When did it expire? As to whether a store will sell you a firearm even if it expired less than six months ago, there may also be store policies, even if the CFO still considers the PAL valid.

Most stores will take full payment or a deposit and hold it for you until you receive your PAL

i dont think you can buy new guns with the expired PAL, but can still possess the ones you own legally for up to 6 months.
