Default My boy hunting Red Stag in Norway!!

So my boy is spending the next two years doing school in Norway (he got some kinda scholarship)

Part of their program is a 1 week ‘outdoors experience’ so he found the offering for a week long excursion to hunt Red Stag.

He got selected b/c he’s got hinting experience and could help the other students.

He’s sent a few audio clips of the stags ‘bugling’…. It sounds like a crazed beef cow almost.

Anyways… here’s some pics he sent.. enjoy

Good to see him getting his hunting fix.

That is fantastic

Takes guts to move away to another country and fend for yourself. Good on him.

Wow that is amazing, good on him for doing something like this. I did a student exchange in school to the Netherlands and is something I will never forget.
Looks like he got something as well, which adds the butchering aspect for alot of those kids which is excellent.
Also neat to see windmills at the tops of those ridges, would've been some interesting construction.

Yah it’s different there. Landowners own the tags

Sell them to hunters

They got three!

Pretty cool stuff

Looks like the landowners don’t like the disturbance either, lol. Is that a silencer on that rifle the guy is carrying, lol?

Great experience for your boy! He probably wouldn’t get there without you along the way either, man. Congrats to both of you!

And good on Norway having this type of experiences for the kids too. Damn commies look like they know what they are doing, lol.

What a great experience to go to school in Norway. Also good to do it when you are young because it is one of the most expensive places in the world to travel to if you have to eat in restaurants and live in hotels. Fifty bucks U.S. for a Burger King Whooper meal, as one example. Even living like the Norwegians it is really expensive but a lot better than being a tourist. Very glad I was on an expense account when I was there.

He’s very lucky

Whole shebang is paid for.
There’s no way in hell we could afford this for him.

Life is about not stopping the adventures and this is just one he chalked up….awesome.
