Default Who knows a thing or two about fish finders?

So I went to use my Fishin Buddy 2000 yesterday, and the screen is just black now when powered on. It certainly could have fallen on the floor at some point or the LCD screen froze (as it was stored in a un-heated garage)...

Only paid $50 for so no big loss.

Toast or fixable?

Thoughts

Thanks

Peter

I tested the batteries before I used it (3 c - cells ) and all tested in the good range on the tester, so thought they were ok... But I could try a brand new of batteries...

When you stored it were the batteries left in it for an extended amount of time. Maybe check the connections. Not sure. Ya you really should not leave electronics out to freeze. That could be your problem. I had one many years ago for my 12 FT aluminum and it was telescopic. Worked great.

Never have left batteries in, always took them out...

I suspect the LCD screen froze...

Thanks for your input...
