Default Meet our new minister of energy!

http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/calgar...ster-1.3086547

For starters, she lacks any direct experience working in the oil and gas industry. By profession, she was a teacher and administrator with the Peace River School Division. After decades in the school system, she worked as a vice-president with the Grande Prairie Regional College

I have a tonne of oil and gas experience, perhaps I should campaign for minister of education. Thoughts?

Not so subtle slap in the face to the energy industry from our current Government...

I don't think we need to worry. She has two last names...she should be doubly good.

Look at it this way!

We are just going on a 4 year diet! Oils suppose to be down for 3-5 years anyways. So lets survive and then emerge and waltz into another boom.

Health minister looks like a fine example of good health. Maybe we'll get better grub and chocolate bars in the hospitals.

Yup, it's going to be like a non stop montage of monte python skits based on dante written by a collaboration between suzuki and gore(met gore once, thought he was a dick, and that's before he was anybody and proved himself without a doubt a dick, but I digress).

If it wasn't happening here it would be outright hilarious.

I like this ^ attitude ... but after a '4 year double-whammy diet' we could be bled white!

Well, you reap what you sow...and to all those folks who voted NDP just because they were not PC or WR, we have YOU to thank. Alberta will be the laughing stock of Canada for the next four years...

Maybe not Molly.

If Alberta has no money to transfer to the other provinces because there is no petro revenue the joke might be on them.

You never know.

good post Molly. Gets a person to thinking.

Alberta's oil industry is now officially screwed. Ask anyone at the Fairview College how inept she is. You will want to scream and run. Incredible waste of air.

If I was a commercial land developer based out of Saskatoon, I would be spending a LOT of time in down town Calgary this summer...... along with the Sask. Economic Development minister.

Right on Hal:

There is going to be a lot of work in the "middle east" this summer. Middle East being Saskatchewan for you folks from Edmonton Strathcona.

Like Ralph used to say when the NEP hit. "Go back east young man, and take a couple of your buddies with you".
