Default chukar

Out for a drive just north of hwy 37 east of 28 north of edmonton on some gravel range rds. I saw two nice chukar's. They did not appear to be banded and walked right by my truck. The only natural areas were the treed ditches then surrounded by rolling cultivated fields. Note these were Not Huns. Two positive ids on chukar....

Neat. Im gonna go out on a limb here and say... yes I could have shot them because they are not recognized by alberta wildlife just like boar and bison
