Wowzers what at storm. Haven't seen one like that for many years. It was raining horizontally, dime sized hail, crazy lighting, crap flying around, and power has been out an hour now.

Now I can't find my dog or my red shoes. Yikes!

Interesting. When the lightning flashes in the video the weather looks tubular.

I suspect your dog took your shoes in retaliation for leaving him out in the storm. If you just click your heels your dog will come home.

Had to wrestle the trampoline out of a tree around midnight. Probably not the wisest thing to do in an electrical storm but it was either that or it was going to go airborne onto the neighbours house.

Westlock. Yup, chain saw first thing this morn to clear the lane way. More leaners.....
Got hammered hard last night. Ponds.
Willows (that the wife hates) along two sides of the property will have "shed" lots of branches..... again.

Incredigirl and I sat in the garage watching it roll in. Ended up slipping one car into the garage before the grape-sized hail hit.

Wind was sure whipping the trees around, but we've had worse. One medium-sized tree in my neighborhood was split in two. Overall, we did okay.

Picked up my kid at a friends in Millwoods around 11 pm last night, winds were starting. Coming back to near the river to drop off her friend and wow, what a change. 50 st was almost pitch black dark from the gravel dust coming off the parking lots near Sherwood Park freeway. From 11:30 to around 1 the winds sure howled and some good lights in the sky. So glad I topped two tall trees this spring.

Very little rain and I believe no hail.

Last night storm was expensive for me. Lost a lot of shingles but to make matter worse the blown in insulation needs to be replaced as it soaked up a lot of rain that came in.

woke up to the wind and had to shut a few windows. Then the hail started hitting the windows and I watched loony sized hail bouncing off the windows and window ledge, then it changed to pee sized after a couple minutes. I thought for sure the windows would bust and I sure didn't have much hope the gazebo would be fine this morning. But other than stucco pounded off the walls everything survived. Not sure about the garage shingles. Must check them in a bit. But none blown off from what I can see.
