Default 44 Rem Mag Reloading in my Lever Action RIFLE?

Hey,

I have come across some of my Grand dad's old Hurcules 2400 powder aswell as a few boxex of 300gr JSP bullets. I'm not worried about the condition of the powder. (1x4lb and 2x1b containers, all unopened).

Anyways, my question is where do I find some reloading information on the internet to start loading for this combination; 300gr bullets - Hercules 2400 powder.

I found some guides for Alliant 2400, (I found it saying 19grs with a COL of 1.665") would these two different powders be simular enough to start load development safely?

Alliant used to be Hercules, so I would think it's the same powder. However, I would check with the experts at Alliant to make sure http://www.alliantpowder.com/
