Default Rem 700 XCR Tactical

Does anyone own one? Does anyone know anything about these rifles as far as accuracy? Thinking about getting one for target shooting and big game, mostly deer but the odd moose and elk as well.
What would the max range for moose be with the 308 with shot placement of course? the options are 300 Win Mag and 308 Win. More inclined to go with 308 due to less recoil.
Anyone have anything to add?

I have a 700 XCR tactical in 300 win mag and it shoots VERY well.
With 208 Amaxs .3 to .4" groups are attainable. My buddy shoots 1 as well after seeing how well mine shot and his seems to shoot extremely well also.
Not sure if we just got extra lucky or if they all shoot as well as these 2 do, but I would not hesitate to buy another 1 if I needed it.
I had mine bedded and a brake installed, made a HUGE difference in how nice it is to shoot. Loud as hell but recoils is like 22-250 now.
