Default first time bow hunter need tips

I am a first time bow hunter and am currently practicing with targets but am getting good enough and confident enough to head out into the field. I am pursuing mule and whitetail deer in central alberta and am looking for tips hints or any advise anyone has. Thanks and good luck with your seasons.

Good Luck!
I guess the best advice is not to rush things, take your time, wait for a good shot. Stalking works well on mule deer, not as easy with whitetail, so a tree stand or blind is a great idea for both.
Do your homework, pattern your deer and it will work in your favor. Again best of luck, hope you connect and get some great deer.

As SSAMR says patience I think is the key. I haven't totally figured out what works I just know from many blown oportunities that forcing the issue (getting a bedded deer to stand for instance doesn't). GD luck!

Learn to be patient. A ground blind or tree stand will serve you well hunting both whitey's and mulie's. I was sitting in a ground blind, had a doe come within 10 yards. Good luck!
