Thanks, after feeding bears for the season last year and not getting the shot I was looking for, I may have been a little trigger happy. This guy came in about 7:30 and was scared off the bait about 5 minutes later by a pack of 6+ wolves that passed through the area. With no shots taken at the wolves we had to wait about an hour later for the bear to come back to the bait. His coat was too nice to pass up. After a 40 yard dash it was picture time and I had my first archery bb. Now it's time to find mr. colour phase. I think DD may have another picture he could post to help out the computer illiterate.

Very cool. Congrats man. Too bad ya didn't get a crack at the wolves. Not to many can say they took one of those bad boys on archery tackle! Either way, great beat. Well done.

Congrads On your Bear.I know what you mean on trigger happy,I had a 5 1/2 foot probally 17" beautiful coat come in last night,Pretty tempting,But holding out for the big fella,Very nice bear,he will look good in your den.Congrads again on you first bow bear kill.
