Fishing has been spotty picking up a couple and there then hitting a feeding frenzy for a half to one hour. Then dies again. Move to another spot. And start all over again

What a day in the yak on the lake!
Only one over pushed 32 inches if I squeezed him!
Funny the bigger ones where suspended in deeper water like 150fow so I stuck it out there.
When calm I dropped the TC Moto meathead with a paddle tail but other than that it was the Apex trolling
Lures behind a #2 deep six.

Was a great day all around now for a beverage or two!!!

Non stop today. Lots of doubles fished 70-110 feet....no overs but I don't think we caught anything smaller than 65ish.

Awesome!

We found them right away on two rather large bait balls so we just picked them off.
Nothing over though so I broke away for a bit to try to find bigger ones but ended up in the same area again to have some more fun.

Ahhhh what a place!

The morning was gorgeous.....easy 50+ fish in 4 hours and real calm. The wife outfished me as per usual including the only over fish at 82cm.
Went back out for a couple hours this afternoon in the chop and it was a steady bite but nothing like this morning.
Will get 3-4 hours in tomorrow morning before heading home.

Used for ice fishing and in my kayak, hope that still gets me a spot on your boat?

I'll be joining in for the long weekend chaos. Hoping to hunt down (and release) some of those bigger class fish. Perhaps I'll see some of you out there.

Me and the kid will be out as well. Heading up Wednesday - Sunday. We'll be in the little red seamax inflatable pulling dipsy divers unless it's dead calm and we can do some jigging. We stay lakefront at the MD campground. Lotsa beer in the fridge.

Just got home from Cold lake ,took a father and his daughter out . Found a great spot past the beach and the minute I move over 500 yards these two boats came and took our spot and parked 10 feet a part of each other. Lol.
We drove past them while using our down riggers and got a double header again near our spot. We had to stop and take a picture as it broke the record of most fish taken on two rods In my boat.
Their final count on a clicker at the end of the day was 77
