Default Bow/Rifle Carrying Backpack recommendations

Looking for recommendations for a new backpack that can also carry my bow or rifle.
It's only for day hunts so don't need anything huge. Also trying to keep price reasonable.

Have seen this one on bass pro :

http://t.basspro.com/RedHead-Primal-...3030307014435/

but they never have any stock in store and I don't want to order it from the USA only to find
it does not meet my needs.

Anyone have a line were someone can find something locally and actually do the touchy Feely before buying?

Check out the Eberlestock backpacks. They seem to get good reviews (I've never used them) but some may think they're a bit too pricey! Cabelas sells them. Good luck.

I use an eberlestock X1, very comfortable, adjustable and functional, has lasted several seasons with no issues. Go-to pack for day trips, both hunting and fishing. A fly rod tube fits very well in the rifle scabbard. I find both the rifle and bow scabbards easy to use, but definitely try before you buy to see if it works for you.

My only criticism of the X1 is that its at the top end of what a day pack should weigh (5 lbs) about the same as a high end pack frame/bag, without the load carrying capacity.

There's a few for sale on the buy and sell section if you're interested.

Tenzing TZ 1250 lumbar pack. By far the most innovative, functional, and minimal load bearing day pack on the planet. Bow hunted and rifle hunted with it this season and barely knew it was there. Approx. $250 but worth every penny.

I have a red head pack. I couldn't find it on the site to take a screen shot for ya. It's a little bigger, with the detachable fanny pack deal. Lots of room and the rifle holder works great. Lots of straps, haven't had my bow on but have had snow shoes and tents and sleeping bags all strapped to it. Has that channeled type padded back which I found actually works great for keeping your back kinda cool, also the shoulder straps are connected at the top that I found really helps disperse weight. Support is great, and lots of padding in the straps and waist belt along with the clip across the chest. I'd recommend it to others. If this one has similar features as I described its worth it for those long hikes.

Here's another vote for the Eberlestock X1. It fits everything you should need for the day. You can pack a gun or bow on it.
Its a real comfortable pack and worth the price.

Yep for the Eb.
X1A1 was my first, then traded it for boots, missed not having is so I got another.
My Trapper 30-30 fits it well.
