outside draw for suffield elk

jan1-30 draw.

anyone seen any cows on outside. found multiple bulls and one dandy. but cant find any cows. hunted east side by hilda and north by bindloss also the south boundary and the nothwest corner by jenner

Pretty much the toughest tag going outside the base. Be prepared to see countless bulls, and if you are very luck you'll find a cow.

It took me 17 days last season to find a cow outside the base. I would focus most of my time on the eastside. Very tough to find a cow. I saw hundreds of bulls and one cow which I was lucky to harvest.

Bulls avoid cows this time of year and the cows stay on the base.

Cows primarily winter on the base, bulls largely winter off of it. Bulls and cows don't mix this time of year.
