I'm in 357 right now and I'm staying with a friend of a friend. He has lots of contacts. He calls them and asks if they have any elk. They usually do and in return ask how many tags we have. Response is 2. Can you shoot more ? They always ask. Don't worry about them, I'll take care of the bodies!
Our response has been in not worried about you taking care of them. I'm worried about what the fish cops will do. So we tell them we can only shoot what we have tags for.

Anyways point being. If you see elk on someone's land. Chances are they want them gone. Drive up to the house and get permission. I bet 95% say yes.
