hey guys i just picked up a remington 783 in 308 win. with the vortex crossfire 2. its a nice gun but does anyone have one any idea on what ammo they like? thanks in advance.
You really won't know until you try a few. 1-10 twist might like the heavier bullets. 165-180's. For factory fodder my ruger m77 with the same twist shoots federal premium 165 sierra game kings the best. About tied at second place are Remington cor-lokt 180's and Sako 180g hammerhead.

With a 1:10, anything above 150gr. It will depend upon what your rifle likes. If it were me, and I was using factory loads, I would use 168gr SMK's in Federal Gold Medal match.
Even better if you hand load and develop something your rifle likes.
