I would contact Ridgetec. I have never dealt with them, but I would guess that be competitive with other companies and keep up customer satisfaction they will help you out in some way.

I also have Summit 4 but have never experienced this. I've had mine in use for a little over 13 months now. I'd contact them and see what they have to say.

My Uway (now company is named Ridgetec) MB600 stopped working and now know it was a power source failure - it was a few years at this time and so I mailed it to them (Lethbridge) and for $30 all in had it back returned and working. I found their warranty and/or repairs to be really good.

I had my U-way do that kind of. When I was setting it up it was drizzling and moisture got in the area between the camera and the exterior lense.
If you looked really close you could see the tiny droplets on to inside of the lense. When it got warm this would turn to a mist like fog.
Warranty was over so I just undid the 6 or 8 screws in the cover, wiped the lense, let it air dry for a day, and re-assembled. Good as new.
There's a gasket there but obviously it's not sealed as well as the one that seals the 2 halves.

Hmmm, I like your camera, it has elk on it. My Primos never do. Perhaps it's defective.
