I went there in the hopes that I could find a "Henry Golden Boy" in .22 LR. No cigar, just a bunch of uninteresting stuff on the rack. I also wanted to buy some 20 gauge ammo, none to be found. A lot of 12 gauge and 10 gauge though.

20 gauge has been gone for a loooonnngg time (at least in lead). Lots of 12 gauge steel, some 12 gauge lead, but mostly Federal #4 and #2.

I was there when they first dropped guns and ammo to 40-50% off (Monday?). Lineup was crazy but moved fast when I was there in the afternoon. Lots of numbers getting skipped.

Good opportunity to stock up on dangerous game ammo. Saved $90 a box today.

Evidently there is no one in Grande Prairie that reloads. Dropped in on the way to the in-laws for Christmas and picked up Unique, Red Dot, 2400 and some RL 17 all for 19 bucks a pound. 2 years ago you couldn't find any of these powders for any price. To bad they didn't have any black powder.

Not a gun left at North edmonton. Infact N Edmonton is pretty much got nothing good left. I have never looked at Sitka gear before and was floored at the price! Still a fair bit left on the rack if anyone is looking.

Gun ammo is down to random 12 gauge, 7mmWSM, and random 22. Some boxes of ultra mag left also

I don't think so, only 8 guns left at all from what I saw.

Stopped in North Edmonton store today, they been reorganising and taking shelving down. Starting to look fairly empty in there. Mainly just clothing and a few other odds and ends left now.

Went to Calgary store yesterday...getting picked clean. If someone is looking for a Minn Kota electric trolling motor, there are some still available at 40% off.

Was at the north Edmonton store today. I heard the pigeons were the last thing they were going to liquidate.

They were cheap ones, I think the price tag on the one was just over $200

Last night was my final trip to WSS, grabbed some fishing tackle but that's about it.

Entire gun section in the south Edmonton location was empty and roped off. Same for the fly fishing section.

Checked out the Lethbridge wholesale today, all tackle 70% off, watched the last gun in the store get sold. Managed some FMJs for $40 per 6 and enough tackle to last me and my kids a LONG time. Cabelas, Canadian Tire and any other outdoor store might not see my money for quite a while. Sad to see wholesale close, however my credit card has taken a hit as i did about 5 years of spending in the last month.

Same here, I have bought a lot of fishing tackle in the last 2 months, should be good for a long, long time.

Holy cleaned out. Very few items left in South calgary. Shelves are being dismantled. A few hundred boxes of ammo left but not in the popular calibers. Some camo and some bows.

Was looking for reloading stuff but it has been severely picked over.

I grabbed enough saltwater tackle to outlive my grandsons I think.

I also bought a Savage 30-06 axis with scope, $400 out the door. I bought it for my son but he apparently already has a rifle, didn't know.
I am going to list the rifle for what I paid if anyone wants it.
There was supposed to be a $100 rebate from Savage but it conveniently started on the 19th, several days after I bought this one. I am sure this bit a lot of guys.

None left. Was there last night and know there is no reason to go there for boxing day now. No decoys or much of anything.

Calgary store has half-a-dozen Savage Lightweight Hunters in 30-06, a far superior rifle for $465 + tax.

Those are the only firearms they have left. Store is pretty bare...

I was in Saskatoon a couple weeks ago. Wow was it bare lol.
There were a few 'awesome deals' according to the counter people, like the plain-jane bare 10/22 for $599!!! HAHAHAHAHA
Several of us laughed at that one, which only annoyed her mildly, she did not care one iota.
The price jump on some things were staggering. Lures marked at 40% off, $12.99 regular price that were $8.99 in Edmonton, which I know for certain because the same week I bought 30 of them.
Still going to miss that store, if for nothing else the saltwater tackle.
