Default NAFA Jan auction Your Thoughts

I'd thought I would start this...

How about those muskrats. WOW looks like there maybe some extra rats in sloughs this year. Their maybe some very bored trappers this spring as well.

I didn't have a single muskrat sell. I didn't expect too much but not a single muskrat sell? Man, that's brutal. So what's going on, do we have to wait and see how mink do in order to determine the future of muskrats?

Has NAFA stated anywhere how many buyers were in attendance? I'm wondering with NAFA only having a limited offering if a lot of buyers skipped this auction to attend the April one.

If there's no interest in buying muskrats in the April auction, as much as I enjoy trapping them, there's not much point in adding to the glut of them.

I just glanced through the mink auction......Bought back, bought back, bought back! The few prices that I saw didn't seem very good. Why buy muskrats when you can pick up mink for next to nothing?
