Online Reloading Supplys
AO members,
Just wondering if anyone has had any success on purchasing reloading supply's online. I have been reloading for awhile and seem to be getting to busy to make it to the store to keep my supply's stocked up. I am curious if anyone has had good luck with purchasing reloading supply's online? If you could throw some knowledge my way that would be much appreciated.

Powder from Higginsons. Bullets, cases, and primers from x-Reload.
On-line is the only way I order my supplies.

http://mysticprecision.com/ For all the stuff you can’t find at x-reload but jerry usually takes some time to get your items They only order and ship once per month. Plenty of patches is also great for cleaning product and they ship fast sometimes I get the order the next day.

I buy quite a bit of reloading supplies of Doug Rainer, (RAYN’ER SHINE GUNWORKS) in Lancer SK.
P&D will mail out anything you want if you phone, they don't have online, but carry a large line of reloading supplies.

The worst part about some components is that you need to pay extra shipping for HAZMAT charges.

If you're buying powder from Higginsons, you can save all shipping costs (they're free) when you order 40 pounds or more of powders. That's what I do.

I think its 24# from Higginsons, thats what I got free shipping for on my last order. You still pay a bit of HAZMAT and delivery fee, Higginsons only covers to the closest Loomis/Canpar depot.

Sorry, yes you're correct. 24# is free shipping. And they've always delivered right to my business address, not a depot.

Yup it's 24 lbs. for free delivery, you pay the $25 or $30 hazmat fee which is still a pretty good deal as their prices are lower than most local stores. I called when I ordered and they cover shipping to major centers that Loomis has a depot.
6MT, you likely live in one of those cities therefore it was delivered to you. I don't live in the city and was told I could either pick it up in the city or pay for the additional shipping from the city to my town at which point I'd still have to drive to town to get the order as they don't do farm deliveries. Still better price than most if you can get a bulk order going.

Oh that's awesome, they deliver it to my home address but it cost an additional $16 or so since the free delivery is only to the depot. So its $30 Hazmat and $16 shipping on top of the free shipping.

Hmmm
x2 on missing Wholesale, that was the one thing that they had over the rest of the crap here in Calgary, you could find reloading sups.
So if I understand correctly,
Take my chances on driving to Bass Pro or Cabelas and hope they have what I am looking for cause if I order online it costs more after you pay the shipping/Hazmat blah blah blah.
Or order PRC and get away from reloading bullets and save the headache of finding sups.
Don't like either to be honest. Love playing with handloads and kinda like going to the store never know what you will find other than going there and there is nothing that you came for,
#illstopwhining,

Ouch! I always order 40 or more pounds so I never get charged shipping or HAZMAT fees. I get it delivered to my business in Edmonton.
I just received an order of 40lbs of H50, Retumbo, and Varget.

Try Budget Shooter's Supply in BC.
They ship powder and primers via CanPar for very reasonable rates.

Doug is simply the best for bullets IMO. He also considers the volume of your order and will do special orders.
Besides that he is a good fellow!
Second up for bullet selection and price is Elwood epps. That place has some real hard to find stuff including ammo.
Need 17 FB ammo in bulk 50 packs? Well they have it and it is a reasonable way to get brass for reloading.
I got some 17 Rem from them as well at great price.

That is great. I’ll add Hummason and Lawry shooting supplies in Ontario.
Hummason have been just great to deal with. Good stock of powder!

I've had good luck ordering from Budget Shooter Supply. Good prices and service. I believe he takes the summer off, so you might have to wait until September to order.

Missing Wholesale in Saskatoon, if they had a sale.
Now Doug Rayner, or club order from Hummason, or luck at a gun show for me.

Flies, etc has a good supply of reloading supplies. I've bought from Higginson, and Budget. Both were excellent to deal with.

Calgary Shooting Centre for Alliant and Vihtavuori
Cabelas/Bass Pro for bullets
Humanson (online) for other powders orders.
The rest Amazon, Bass Pro, EBay.... whatever happen to be cheaper.
