Default Sherburn (Grassy Lake) Reservoir Access Meeting

If anyone is interested in helping to figure out a plan of action to allow access to Sherburn Reservoir (Grassy Lake reservoir), please get a hold of myself at Kouleerunner@gmail.com, or NPauls. We have a meeting arranged at the Grassy Lake School (Chamberlain School) Library, Thursday August 10, 7pm.

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss potential solutions to allow access to the boat launch, to complete together as one collective group and work together with SMRID to determine the best possible solution to allow continued access to the unmonitored launch at this reservoir.

Please come out and support this important initiative!

Meeting is tonight. Please come out and help us come up with possible solutions to the concerns that were brought forward by SMRID which has caused this temporary closure.

THE SMRID Rep. Explained why they closed the reservoir and what they would like to see. He then took questions to try and help clear up all the rumors that have been floating around.

We went over 3 possible solutions and voted on the best option. Once that was done we formed a commitee. Voted in council and figured out a proposal. There will be a proposal submitted to SMRID and their meeting next week.

The meeting went very well and everyone was very respectful.
