Default Travel Photography Thread....share your travel photos from around the world

I thought I would start a thread for those who would like to share some travel photos from around the world. We have some great photographers on AO and it would be nice to see some photos. The world is huge and beautiful and has lots to offer and explore!

I can start....
Trip of a lifetime to Tanzania and the Serengeti.

Would you mind also mentioning the type of camera gear you used? I find it interesting as I am a beginner with a DSLR. I have no understanding of any other setting other than automatic.
Thanks
Sorry to highjack the thread.

No problem!
I use 2 Olympus SLR's, E-520 and E-620, one has a 14-42mm lens, the other a 70-300mm zoom lens. I also use an Olympus Tough TG820 for my point and shoot and for underwater, snorkelling. The other camera I run if I need extra zoom or as a back up is an Olympus SP820UZ.

Try this website, it has so much great info....articles on many different topics, forums, camera reviews, etc...
https://www.dpreview.com/

I started out just enjoying photography and over time acquired or upgraded cameras. I don't have the latest and greatest, in fact, my SLR's are around 8-10 years old now. Knowing your camera and trying it out and taking lots of pictures will help you immensely. Don't be afraid to ask others for help, many of my pictures turned out great because I asked someone how to get pictures like theirs haha.
Another thing to try out is to join a local photo club or bird watchers, lots of these groups have excellent photographers and you may pick up a lot of information from them.
