Default Rem 700 extractor issues. Am I too picky?

So I have been having extractor issues with my Rem 700 (SPOS). It appears that when chambering a round the extractor does not recess completely into the bolt thus creating a stiff bolt to lower and also marks the brass.

The rifle has been to Gravel Agency 3 times for the same issue and although the rifle still marks the brass they are returning it to me saying that it is within spec. Gravel Inc asked Remington and Remington replied with:

"This looks completely normal and will happen with any gun with a strong extractor."

Pic 1 with the deep gouge is before service and Pic 2 after 3 visits to Gravel Inc.

I do not like their answer and that the rifle still marks the brass, so my question is: Am I just being too picky and this is completely acceptable?

Thanks for looking

Those marks are excessive, u are not being too picky. Get someone that knows what they are dong to fix it. It really isn't that hard to do.

Absolutely not acceptable. Get fps plus to fix it for you. I can do it too, but he chimed in first.
