Steve at EM Precision
I've had 3 rifles done by him and they all turned out great.

This^ Steve's done two rifles for me. Decent work, fast turn around, great price. He's not in Edmonton. But Spruce Grove isn't that far away from there.

Diy
My suggestion......if you have a place to do it. Do it your self. I have done quite a few in my small work shop.
Goes like this.....
Take apart firearms, fill and sand any scratches, wax and grease remover all parts to be coated, activate coating, (airbrush)spraying very light tack coat, let flash, spray second light tack coat, let flash, spray heavy even coat. DONE
You'll be able to touch in 8 hrs. Don't use for 3 weeks
Cheers

Nope
If you attempt Ceracoat like above, it definitely will not work.
Maybe you meant another product?
Ceracoat takes experience to do correctly so it looks good and lasts, also requires aluminum oxide blasting and baking, but certainly no product “activating”. By the time you get the product and all materials needed, and figure pressures and temps, it would be much cheaper to have it done professionally.

My Mistake. I was thinking of another product.
Durablue from lauer weaponry.
Anyway I had amazing results.
Cheers

Wear
Wear and durability compared to blueing is improved. Different colour choices as well as designs. No caustic chemicals for the applicator either.

Cerakote...
If anyone is interested in having work done by Black Box Customs I have a $250 certificate for services they offer that I would be willing to part with. They do excellent work but I have sold the firearm that I was going to have them cerakote. Please send me a PM if you are interested, thanks.
