Default Wabasca Bear Population?

Hello Gentleman
Thinking of taking my annual fishing trip/bear hunt up in the Wabasca area. Any thoughts on population up there? Just a tad far to scout.

Just to bad you can't shot the bears in the campground or even just out side the campground as it all is native land.

Heard the boat launch sucked last year also. Everyone ended up using the one by the new gulf course.

I didn't see near the number of bears I'm accustomed to seeing up there last year but I've no doubt they are still there. I've done many day trips up there. Seems brutal to look at on the map but I don't find it that bad for a scouting trip or whatnot once you're doing it. I never fished the lake hard in spring so can't say as what to expect. Most of my efforts have been June through September.

Not sure on the Bears but the fishing sure stinks. Stay away!
