Installing a sling stud on a very sentimental shotgun

My wife has recently been gifted a Stevens 820b by her grandfather, who was gifted the gun by his father. It holds tremendous sentimental value to my wife.

She would like a strap for it when we go out hunting, but it does not have the sling stud in the butt stock. She isn't too keen on letting me drill one in for her. Is there anyone you would recommend who can do this for us. Don't want to pay an arm and a leg, but willing to pay for peace of mind at least.

There are slings for guns without studs. While I normally think they are kinda cheesy - in this case you could keep the gun original if that’s her concern.

Google - “sling for gun without swivels” there are cheap nylon versions, more expensive leather versions like the one above.
