Default Ziess Conquest HD 10x42 Anybody have these? Comparisons to Leica and Swaro appreciated

Let me know what you know about them. Can get them for about $950 all in. Was thinking Leica and Swaro in the $1800-2300 range, but want to know how these stack up against them. Thanks in advance.

I used the Conquest Hd's for the past 2-3 seasons and love them. I find that they have a wide field of view, clear glass and just seem to fit my eye sight. My dad uses the new Leica Geovids and i perfer my Zeiss binos due to fit...even though the glass on the Leicas is superior. For the money I would say they are very good.

I have the Leica Geovids in the 10x42 and the Ziess 10x56 night owls (older ones). For clarity and low light conditions the Ziess are far better IMHO. They weigh a lot more and have no range finder is the cons.

Default Binos

I recently spent an hour in a large US sporting goods store trying out all the higher end binos...

My goal was to be able to clearly read the label on a boot box in a darker corner of their mezzanine floor about 70 yards distant. I own older Swaro 8 x 30 binos and Vortex Viper 10x42 HD binos.

My take: Could not do it with the Vipers, Leicas, Leupolds, Zeiss Conquest, or any lower priced units. Only the Vortex Razors 10x42, Swaro 10x40 SLC and EL units gave me the resolution I was after. They did not have the top end Zeiss binocs to try.

Hope my 2 cents worth helps you a bit.
