Just wondering if anyone has any experience with one of these revolvers. With their cheap price I'm wondering if it's worth picking up a couple. I'm not sure how I feel about the cerakote finish.

I'd be interested in these too if you could get a 22 WMR cylinder for them. They look like they would be hard to beat for a fun little range gun for that price.

We are just talking about a 22 revolver here. While I don’t doubt a steel frame would be stronger I don’t see the need for a 22 6 shooter. Who wants to pay double or triple for a 22 that does the exact same thing?

We have a collection of revolvers already. I get your point, I'm all about paying more for quality. Which is what I do most of the time. I was thinking of buying 2 of these for the kids. We have quite a few. 22 hand guns that we don't let them shoot because I don't want them getting scratched up. I thought these might be perfect. I wasn't shopping for revolvers, I just saw them for sale at a low price.

I think that Ruger saw Heritage Rough Rider .22 sales cutting into their .22 revolver market, and felt that they had to join the race to cheap.
These guns make my all steel Herbert Schmidt single action .22 look like a gem.

I had one. Fun little pistol. I think they're on sale at Cabelas right now for $280.

I bought one for getting the wife and kid into shooting. I've taken it out a couple times. Yeah it doesn't have the fit and finish off a higher price gun but it is a great little shooter. Safe, lightweight, inexpensive. It is great for smaller hands. Worth 300$, yes all day.

I've shot one. I'm not a pistol guy, and can usually find at least SOMETHING to like about the way a gun looks. Not with this thing.

Light, function 110% perfect, smooth/tight tolerances...but very cheap looking. Would be a pass for me, but it was fun to shoot.

I might hold off on buying them. I just thought for the price it would be feasible to buy one for each of the kids. I love the idea of cheap plinkers, as we have literally thousands of. 22 rounds. I could train the kids for the apocalypse!! I think the turn-off for me is the cerakote on a revolver to me looks more like spray paint.
