Savage Accutrigger

Hey guys, just wondering about this trigger. Wife just got a new Storm 110 and I was trying to adjust the trigger as per manual and what vieos I could find. They all make it look pretty simple.
This spring does not want to turn either direction. It sits at about 4 lbs with some creep and you can't change it. One video said you should be able to get the spring sitting flush with the top of the hole. I am nowhere near that. They make it look like it should turn with ease but this one feels like I will break the little tool either way.
Any thoughts?

Take gun back and get it replaced. I have adjusted many of these and they all turn VERY easily. If yours is bound up it isn't put together proerly and you may end up with bigger issues than trigger weight.

Factory puts a very small drop of locktite on the adjustment spring. Make sure you are on the correct spring, and give it a nudge to unhook the goop. Enjoy the rifle! What chambering did you go with?

Interesting I put mine down to two pounds with a little flat head I have to agree with dean2 take it back it's too easy not to work. Good luck
