The refs were definitely not stellar, but neither team really played a disciplined game. Too little too late for the Flames. There are some who have showed up to play, and some who don't look like they have so much. There were close calls both ways, Lucic almost had one, could have made the difference....oh well.

Reminds me of Colorado. Pressure skaters and we fall apart. Winnipeg’s best 2 players out and we sheet the bed. So damn frustrating. New game tomorrow. Who knows who shows up

Johnny Hockey needs to move on. It’s time.
He puts up points in the regular season but when the pressure is on he is such a non factor.....

Just guarantees that we will see at least 2 more games, gusty win by the jets, Flames had small flashes but for the most part were not sharp at all and took a couple late STUPID penalties, best of 3 now

Agree. Flames do great when they play a gritty physical style, and they need that in playoffs. But that style is where little Johnny just disappears. I don't blame him, he is a little guy, and he would get killed if he tried to play that game, but him disappearing when you need a goal in isn't helping much. I'd way rather have a guy like Lowry in front of the net, absolutely.

And Monahan was a no show again today. Lindholm is the only one on that line playing a 200 foot 60 minute game.

From what I seen of Monahan, he was covered pretty good. He didn't have much room to move but yes the "stars" need to step up when it counts, or we will be done early again.

Question is where will little Johny fit in?The East is where he wants to end up. Yes, he has talent but he is no Fleury where does his talent fit in if he dissapears in the playoffs? Is he worth 6.7 mill to Calgary?

Lots of questions moving forward....

He’s great at helping get to the playoffs, but of little use once there.
The flames even without him are going to make the playoffs. Boot him for 2 solid veteran playoff players. Watch how deep your team goes then.

Should see him live, either he's very unpopular with his teammates or the game has changed that much.......wimp. Some old gal after a few called Steinberg on the after-hours show one time, called Johnny 'bling' It was a hilarious exchange!!

Good first period, game 3. I thought both teams looked good, and all tied up at 1. Should be an entertaining game. Tkachuk doing his thing. Lindholm is still the best Flame on ice. Everybody moving their feet.....

Much better effort today. Will be a close one, but I think we keep it up we will take it. Bennett is still solid in the Playoffs, or play in .

I really like Benny, always have. He brings something to the game that his numbers maybe don't reflect. It's his mustache. And the way he finishes his hits. And skates his ass off every shift.

Shocker called off. I do like how the boys are moving their feet. Usually first to the puck.
Monahan noticeable today for sure. That hook could have been dangerous.

And then a weak call on Lucic, and Jets get a pp goal.

I don't get it. Call weak stuff, and let a hook go for three lines with no call. Pitiful.
