Default FTR Nordegg area

Went down to the North ram yesterday again. It turned out to be another exploration day. Ram was moving very fast and the north fork road at the bridge was closed for some reason. Last time I found a few nice areas down that way. So off I go to South ram. First time there. I stopped and fished Cripple creek I think according to my map. Beautiful stream but no luck. I checked the Hummingbird area and that’s a good looking area to fish. Will be back there next week
Went to Shunda and wow is it high and flooding the walking trails I was on 2 weeks ago. Did catch a couple very small browns but it was a great day in the mountains. Hopefully no more rain for a while

Can you get past where the road is washed out by quad to access the river farther downstream?

Contact Clearwater county. They can tell you when it will be re-opened.
