Default Savage Long Range Hunter

Does any one owns this gun yet? and how do you like it? Or does any know where can I buy this gun?

well if the usual suspects don't have it or make their 'quick phone call' and tell you its not available yet with the 'main suppliers'....then better phone Clay at Prophet River Firearms...'sako alberta' i believe is his handle here.....thats what i did and my Savage 220F slugger is on the way, he said by the end of the month so i guess i should give him a shout....if its late i don't care, don't really need it until Jan

I got one about 2 months ago from frontier firearms in a 6.5-284 norma. As far as I know their sold out right now but keep checkin their website. Anyways it shoots great, ive got it shootin under 1/2" at 300 yards and am going to be goin out 1000 yrds with it. The guns a tack driver-Good Luck

Coldredneck off this site picked one up a few months back....you could drop him a line as well. Hangs his hat in Okotoks nowadays........guess he's gonna have to drop the "cold" part of his name

Default savage long range hunter

I own one and am in the process of working up loads; looks like it has great potential. Last I heard both Prairie Gun Traders and Rayner Shine Gunworks in Saskatchewan had 6.5/284's in stock and at a reasonable price. Both ship and both are easy to deal with.
