Default rather have matthews or APA?

Just wondering what you would rather have. A Matthews bow or an Apa Bow?

they are both beautiful bows , but get what fits you best .For me apa is a better fit and I have been shooting them for 5 years now .. The new line up for this year is absolutley amazing . And if your looking for speed then apa is definatley the way to go . I have an x-2 for hunting and am shooting 311 fps with a 27 .5 inch draw .. But its all personal preference , so get what fit you best .. goodluck

Just got back for Minot, ND. and in the Scheels there they had a bunch Matthew's Monsters on hand. Very nice! I heard they were not even really available yet. Very quick bow if that is what is important to you...

I've been shootin' Matthews for about 8 yrs. Then about 4months ago I bought a APA Black Mamba X2 ,I lov it!! I try to shoot it at least 3 or 4 times a week. Recently though I've started pulling on the Matthews as well, I luv it! they are both awesome bows the hardest part of owning both is deciding which to shoot first

I really like my Mamba MX1 2009. If you are looking for speed I would go with APA. And if you are looking for smooth, it would be a toss up between the APA Viper and a DXT.

Matthews= quiet+smooth, I love it. Cant comment on the mamba as I have only shot one a couple of times. My buddy shoots a hoyt and it sounds like a gun. The bows these days are all pretty good, whatever feels the best.

I haven't heard of any limbs cracking (they are pretty much made the same as the ones on my APA) but I never was fond of their risers (personal preference). The bows are so ugly they have to put a hot model in pictures with them to distract you from the bow

I do want to try an Alien though.

I have tried the Rytera Alien, a few weeks back. I was expecting a little better quality from this bow. Not quite the fit, feel or finish that I'm looking for.

But I did find a Laura Francese poster in the September issue of "Bow & Arrow Hunting" magazine that I picked up last night

I just bought a Black mamba mx1. I shot the reezen, DXT, APA viper and the mamba. I personaly liked the Mamba. Was faster and very comfortable. Nothing wrong with the others just personal preference
