Save your money. Buy a Robertson, Mcmillan, Bansner, etc........

Just my opinion, based on my experience.

i bought two B&C stocks last year and am happy with both of them

i would buy again in a heartbeat

my suggestion is get your hands on one first...the quality is there but you may not like the "fit and feel"

when i was shopping i got my hands on an HS, McMillan and a B&C....i took the bell and carlson for it felt the best in my hands...then the second i bought sight unseen cause i was impressed with the first...both were sound investments IMO

In that price range, I like the HS Precision much better.

But you can't compare a McMillan or Bansner, to either the HS or B&C. One is mass produced, can be bought 'off the shelf', and doesn't require waiting months and months for.

You get what you pay for, and they all are pretty decent. The more expensive ones are just a little nicer.

I have had problems with 3 of the newer line of Bell & Carlson.

- The light weight graphite model is much too flexible for accurate shooting.
- I have seen several warped stocks on the new Alaskan Ti models. Just one of the reasons I sent this rifle back.
- I also have a benchrest model with a full length bedding block that is slowly but continually twisting like a corkscrew.

I have made several attempts to contact B&C regarding the warped stock but have yet to receive any type of response.

H-S makes a great stock at a reasonable price. Go McMillan if you are willing to invest the pennies.
