Pac-Nor vs Remington sporter
Hey guys,
If you had to pick one, which Pac-Nor contour (#1 or #2) most closely resembles Remingtons standard sporter contour?

Why dont you give them a call or email Pacnor. They would know for sure. I've had excellent service from them and they seem very knowledgable.

e-mail them. They probably have the exact contour available. They did for a savage I was inquiring about.

Surprised to hear that. Maybe things have changed there a bit since I checked into it (it was over a year ago).

The lady I was corresponding with over email was very helpful and friendly.
Im actually planning on ordering a barrel from then quite soon. I'll just measure one of my current barrels and find the corresponding size.
I'm sure if you try to purchase a barrel that they cant make (like a 45cal in a sporter weight), they'll tell you the minimum contour for the bore size.

7mm-08. LH Remington SA, barrel still up in the air and will probably shoot the issued one out of the gate, McMillan classic Swirly ADL, Talley LW's and some flavour of Leupold.

Don't be.
Actually I want this rifle to weigh in at 7.5 to 7.75 pounds and that swirly will get me there nicely.
