Default How many broadheads in the field

Just wondering how many broadheads folks here usually carry with them in the field. From your collective experiences, what's a good number to bring when your out for the day?

5 arrows tipped with broadheads. I can't think of a time I've ever needed more than 2, but who knows?

Usually 4 & 1 blunt for other game. I have a 5 arrow quiver Alpine Softlock quiver. A person really only needs 1...

5, and 1 feild point for practise if i screw up or muff a shot, good for the ego.

Quit taking birds with the bow when hunting big game,... iwas calling elk near whitecourt, all was quiet, so i took a shot at a roughie! Which scared the elk, as he crashed across the cutline 50 yrds ahead of me i almost cried!

Never carry more than three arrows unless I am going way out in the wilderness on a week long hunt. But even then I only carry three and the rest stays in camp.

My thinking is, if I need more then three arrows to kill a deer I better would stay home and do some more practice. Besides bowhunting is a ONE shot is all you get affair so why carry all that extra weight. When I was done laughing I asked him, "What do you with that many arrows arrows you only can kill one deer."

which reminds me of the time I used the wrong pin and the deer just stood there, my arrows out of reach...

enough said. Old scout's motto - be prepared, applies here.
