Default Chinese.....good for something!!

they may be about to srew our wild salmon/steelhead over, but they sure like the fur! good for them!


top lot, black ranch mink goes for 1400.00$

let's hope it continues over to the wild fur!

Excuse me for not knowing, but does wild fur usually get money than farmed fur. I don't know, but I remember the mink pens around Lesser Slave Lake when I was a little kid.

Grey lynx: Yes it does. Wild caught is much more special and the highest quality.

I remember those grew up in faust they were everywhere

wow good price there tons of mink ranches in weymouth area, nova scotia..south shore..they will be happy with the prices!

The mink farms have killed the wild mink market IMO. And I also thought that buyers liked the farmed mink becuz of their consistency of fur, length, color and all the things that makes less work for the processor, therefore I thought farmed mink were worth more but maybe not..

you are correct sourdough d, farm fox/mink are more consistent=more money. thank goodness there's no marten farming eh?

last years TL 225$, this years 270$ for marten.

no, but i had 3 in 0043 for 160$. near as i can figure i'll avg about 98+/_$. avg in the high 60's last year.

i've never had any TL fur...someday??

can't wait to see what coyotes do.

how do you figure??

the others are right, buyers prefer consistency for a superior end product. farmed will almost always yield higher profits.

I remember getting $35 for Martin when I was in high school and thinking that was awesome.
