Default NAFA february sale

42.00 average on beaver
coyote averaged 70.00
Only had 2 small fisher(females) averaged 75 each
Marten averaged 97.00
Now, I wish my main inventory hadn't burnt when the house went. Still, it is nice to see the prices come up for a change.

Yeah it was a good sale, nice to see the prices up.
Averaged:
$39/beaver
$65/fox(should have sent them all in)
$140 otter
$130 fisher
Pretty dissapointed my longtailed weasel only got $3.00

in years past, i missed being able to see my fur get graded in person by a buyer. putting the fur on the "loser cruiser" and shipping it off to the auction after all the hard work was anticlimactic.

but now being able to sit at the computer, with your lot info in front of you, and listen to the auction in real time is awesome. i like this system, nafa did a great job!

i still wish i could see it graded in person, and argue with the guy. i enjoyed that part of it.

I agree. Yesterday I was sitting there screaming at my computer like I was watching a hockey game while my lots were auctioned off. My top three coyotes went for $110, $105, and $100 - so that was pretty exciting.

I was amazed to see the top lot of coyotes go for $700. Pretty impressive.

How do you get to watch that? Do you have to have fur in the sale to watch the auction?

Just sign on to NAFA with a user name and password. Then click on the auction link. You don't need fur in it to watch.

Quiet happy with the sale my Fisher averaged $127.00 and one hit the top at $210.00.
Martin $99.00 average
My cross fox got $60.00
Was kinda disappointed that my yote sold in January for $78.00 as I think it would have been over $100.00 in the sale.
Shouldn't complain I did get $9.00 for the muskrats I shot out of the dugout before they were near prime...........

I did $90 on my marten with a high of $145 for a couple. The mountain marten grade out good but don't get the size of the ones I trapped further north. Great to see fur prices on the upswing

Default Great Sale

Yes, I was able to catch some of my lots being sold via the NAFA website (live)... that was pretty exciting, especially when a nice female fisher I had went for $200! Been a long long time for Fisher to see prices like this.

Other prices were:
Marten 97 avg, 140 top
Coyote 68 avg, 150 top
Lynx 140 avg, 240 top
Rats 8.05 avg, 13.50 top (these were rats caught late Oct - mid Nov!)
Beaver 25 avg, 40 top
Fox 64 avg, 105 top (very nice surprise on Fox)
Ermine 5 avg, 8.40 top
Squirrel .90 avg

Excellent stuff
