Default ~~~~Bull moose Down~~~~

Sorry for the bad pic but it's not my bull so not posting the pic of the hunter.
Went out to an area Ive been scouting a while the friend who drew the tag was after his first bull. He didn't really want to shoot a small one so at noon on the first day when a small 3 point came across the line he opted to pass. That was the first time in my life I've ever seen anyone pass a bull but I was happy he did cause it was the first day of the hunt. Later that evening we set up for the evening call no more than five mins after we set up we here a bull raking in the trees right behind us couple grunts and a little raking on my part and out walked the bull at 80 yards he took him down with an open sight 308 that was all she wrote what a great hunt but in the end it was over the first day anyway. Here he is in the back of my ranger another full load..
Can't wait till next year My Turn.....

Just amazing what you can put in the box of a Ranger. Congrats to you and the shooter on a nice bull.

Almost looks like summer up in the Land of the Mighty Peace.

No snow to throw the liver on. whoa.

Nice Moose... that will be tasty one.

Thanks for the picture.

Take Care.

Thanks for putting me onto him, Curt!

I was rockin' it old school with a Savage 99 with a Williams peep sight. My dad has had that rifle since it was new and he was a teenager, and this was the first animal ever taken with it.

Here's is a better picture. He measured just over 40".
