After last year flood, that road is very hard to drive even for my xterra with big tires on it. Fishing can be very rewarded if you could make your way in. Very less fishing pressure and the rainbows were very active. Nothing more than 12" though in my past experience. I would suggest you camp at three point. There are a few nice spot past messa butte just before and after the second bridge. I had fun on my 2 wt last week. Just can't keep them off the hook. Great place if you are bringing kids for a fishing lesson. Cheers!

Random camping, although often done just off the road, is actually NOT permitted in Kananaskis FLUZs, including the Ware Creek area. You are suppose to be at least 1 km away from the road.

This is seldom enforced, though it depends on the warden.
