Default Sight

Just bought a Truglo Tru-Site extreme from Bass Pro. I was just wondering what you guys think of it. This is my first upgrade sight. It's an upgrade from the stock sight on the Diamond Infinite Edge.

I agree pikenoob if you like it use it and enjoy it. Not everyone can buy the best of the best so buy what you can afford and make it work. Don't pay attention to the idiots that knock another guys gear! Enjoy the new sight!

Hunting and fishing gear is very personal and like a girlfriend.
If it fits and works for you then that's all that matters.
Don't try to keep up with the Jones'.....be the Jones'

I think this is a great upgrade from the stock, plastic Apex site that comes with that bow.

A little story for you:
When I bought my bow a few years back I put a fairly cheap Cobra site on it, I had spent most my money on the bow and didnt have a lot left over for nice accessories. It worked fine. Then my son got a bow with a crap plastic site, I decided to upgrade and give him my Cobra, bought a 7 pin Trophy Ridge with micro adjustments. Shot that for over a year then decided I didnt want 7 pins and didn't like the pin stack (2 green, one red, 2 green...) In the past 6months I have bought a few other sites. An AXT 5 pin, nice tough site, good pin stack, missed my micro adjustments. Then I bought a Tru-Glo just like you did it had everything I wanted, proper pin stack, micro adjustments, wraps for brightness, all metal so its tough. To be honest I would have been very happy with that sight for a long time, my son also shoots a Tru-glo and it works great for him.

I ended up getting lucky and finding a Spot Hogg (Great site that I could never afford) for an awesome price off a fellow AO'er and that sits on my new bow. So one of my buddies bought the TruGlo off me, but I am sure it would have worked great for me for a long time.

If you like the features I think the TruGlo are a great value and will last you a long long time, congrats on your purchase. Just a word of warning, upgrading accessories on your bow can become very addictive, have fun with it!!

I agree a sight is some thing people will always argue over I use a trophy ridge single pin and love it mind you I don't hunt so for what that makes my choice worth, but if you like the look and it gives you tight groups I say have at it
