QAD Exodus
Are they considered a barbed broadhead here in Alberta?

there are two types of the Qad Exodus...swept would be considered barbed, the full would be legal.

They do look like a deadly broad head. They are what my arrows will most likely be wearing this year or maybe Ramcats? I haven't tried either one yet but both have had very good reviews.

I used a ramcat on my mule deer last year with great results. Practice out to 60 yards and they fly great.

I tried the Ramcats, Exodus, Strikers and a few others in the summer last year before choosing one for hunting. Based my decision on arrow flight and build quality.
1st shot with the Ramcat one of blades bent, into a target...garbage! Two Guys Hunting, where I bought them, took them back no questions asked. I will NEVER buy them again.
Exodus and Strikers flew the best, just like field points. Strikers seemed a little sharper than the Exodus but the QAD's have a better build quality.
I went with the Exodus. Shot a bear last year with them with a 40 yard shot. Only went 35 yards. Great blood trail. Head was in great shape after, think it hit a rock after the pass through, just a little nick on the blade.
They will be staying in my quiver.

Awesome... will have to grab some and try them out. I was debating trying mechanicals first this year... possibly the Ulmers Edge or Grim Reapers

I watched a youtube vid on the exodus where they shot it through a steel drum pass through 5 times in a row and the broadhead was still intact and ready to go again.
