Default APA M7 or Hoyt Faktor 34

Well I think I am zeroed in on a new bow, right now it is a toss up between a Hoyt Faktor 34 and a APA M7.

I have shot the Faktor 30 and Spyder 34 and think that Faktor 34 is just what I am looking for.

But today I shot a couple APA's, thank-you Cory from CAC for letting me take the test drives. I really liked the M7, fit me great, drew nice, solid on the hold and dead in the hand (very much like the Hoyt). I really like the added features of the APA and the fact that they are Canadian and it comes in $150 cheaper.

So I am looking for some advice from the boys here on AO do you love or hate APA or Hoyt? I am sure Id be very happy with either but would like your opinions.

BTW I have also shot the Bowtech Experiance, dont like it as much, but still a nice bow. Shot a Mathews Creed, very nice but dont like the handle or looks.

Please help!!

id say APA, the features alone are worth it, the handle is just perfect for carrying it through the bush

I had a m7 in 2012 and ended up selling it to buy a carbon element. I never could shoot the apa that well and had some trouble tuning it at first. Love the handle though was the main reason I bought it in the first place. I'm sure they have made some improvements since 2012 but I'm in love with my faktor 30 and its not going anywhere. Only thing I would have changed is getting a 34 instead of a 30.

Default bow

Love my M7, shot Faktor at Accurate Archery today would not trade for it, but let the bow pick you and try as many as you can.

If both bows feel good and shoot good for you than its just about price and apperance at this point. I have shot APA's and they weren't for me, just didn't find them as refined as Hoyts or Mathews for that matter.

Never tuned an APA but went with a Hoyt Carbon Matrix (mainly for the 35' ATA) and it tunned like a dream. I had to learn how to yoke tune bareshafts but its super easy once you understand the method. I have my FP and BH hitting the same spot out to 70 yards. Haven't been able to really stretch it out b/c of the whether.

Tried the Factors and loved the new cams. To bad nobody had the 34 around earlier this year or I would have picked one up.

I've got an APA V7 that I shot for two years and this year I upgraded to the M7 and absolutely love it for all the obvious reasons and I shoot it the best out of any other bows I've tried.

I find APA one of most the easiest bows to both spec tune and tune to arrows/equipment...
