The coyote to the left is the biggest one I've caught so far this season, and the one to the right is an adult female.

It's the deep chested ones that carry all the weight, that dog is a twin to the pic of my buddy's dog I posted.

Shot two dogs of similar colour and very good quality fur a outlet of minutes apart one day.
The small one was 37 lbs and the big one was 48, weighted on a beam scale.
Still kicking myself for not tanning and keeping it.
Any others that exceed 40 lbs are usually course and ugly or have a belly full of deer meat.

Caught a huge male today. I will get him weighed. Last year I heard of a guy around Marwayne that had a 63 pounder. Now I am beginning to doubt that lol. Snared one last year that maybe wasn't super heavy but he was about 4 inches longer than any other coyote my skinner had done cause he had to get a new longer board.

Well it turns out i was pretty close on an estimate of 50 pounds on the one given to me. Got a meat scale today that tells me he weighs out at 47 pounds.

Assuming you shot a Tikka 22-250, how do you like it? Just purchased one this weekend, T3 Lite, SS put my Leupold 3.5-10 x 40 scope on, hope to get it out after the elk run at the SB next week, gotta decide what ammo to use.

Nice Dogs guys. i have never weighed any myself could of swore one this year was over fifty, but i doubt it now. The neighbor lost 13 chickens though i saw a coyote that was huge come from their yard if this one was that dog it wouldn't surprise me if it was 50lbs. wish i weighed it.

So me and my coyote hunting buddy previously had a 39lb coyote record. Called a double this morning. The smaller coyote of the 2 broke out old record at
42lb 1 oz. The big one smassssshed the old record at 51 lbs 9oz. Both just monsters. 2 very skiddish males. First one came to the edge and was just about to leave but buddy threaded the shot through the tall grass just in time. The switched the call from rabbit to pup fight and the second one came to the edge of the bush to have a peek. Lights out bang flops both of them. Sooo stoked!
